Bike Trailer Hitch for Thule Chariot Trailers

The ODIER Axle Mount Hitch Cup is designed for use with Chariot bike trailers. This trailer hitch is compatible exclusively with Thule's products. The 12.1mm axle mount trailer hitch is specifically engineered to work with Thule's bike trailer line.

Having more than one hitch can be advantageous. A backup axle mount cup bike trailer hitch allows a second bike to tow the trailer, without the need for repeated installation and removal. This enables each family member to take turns in the towing role.

Key dimensions to note: The hole diameter for the axle through-hole is 12.1mm. The outer diameter of the attaching area is 28mm. If your bike's dropout is not flat enough, you may need to use an adapter or spacers.

In most cases, a basic axle mount cup hitch is all that's required for installation. However, some bikes may need a quick-release (QR) adapter, especially if the dropout is not flat enough. High-end bikes with a 12mm thru-axle may require a thru-axle adapter.

Please be aware that direct installation on a carbon fiber frame bike may potentially damage the frame. We suggest using a thru-axle adapter in such cases.

Additional accessories available include M12x1.0, M12x1.5, and M12x1.75 QR adapters, as well as a hitch kit storage cover and a rain-proof ball head and strap replacement part.
